Weddings canceled due to COVID-19
Weddings with more than 100 people forced to be canceled
Dublin, Ireland: Indoor Weddings with 100 or more people organized by Ideal Wedding are canceled until 29th March 2020. The restaurants we partner with have had to close their doors for the first time because of a virus that has been ravaging Ireland.
The wedding industry is taking a big hit. It is an expensive event that is usually agreed and paid for a year in advance, gathers a large number of people, and involves close contacts of participants.
“Couples planning weddings have been called on to cancel them if there are more than 100 people in attendance, as part of the Government’s bid to deal with the coronavirus pandemic.”
“It’s a clear recommendation and it’s an expectation, as we’ve said that across society people will respond by accepting that recommendation and not proceeding with events that are above one hundred if they have it in an indoor setting.”
All couples who’s wedding was canceled due to COVID-19 in our organization will be refunded in full by the insurance company. We value our customers and we are doing our best to comfort them in this hard time. Ideal Wedding is a young company, but we have already set up high standards and would not let our customers think of us any less. Canceled weddings will get the opportunity to choose another date this or next year.

3 MOST COMMON MYTHS ABOUT WEDDING
The path to becoming a Mrs is very emotional but watch out for the myths that have been plagued by many brides for decades. If you believe in them, the planning process will be much more difficult, and you certainly don't want that. We have checked for you what is the reality in the wedding organization and what are the myths. So, let's go!
Myth # 1 - It's your big day
Now that you have an engagement ring on your finger, you probably think that only you matter at your wedding. After all, you are the one wearing a beautiful white dress while everyone is looking at her. So you should have the final say in every decision - be it big or small - right? As well as whether to have an intimate lunch or a tumultuous Chinese party. Well, it's your big day - and it should be just the way you want it to be.
Reality:
Unfortunately, many brides are late in the fact that they are not the most important. Yes, you read that right. Chances are, your parents and your future husband's parents will want to be involved in wedding planning. This means that you will also have to deal with their expectations and plans, and you will have to respond as diplomatically as possible. If they are the ones who are paying for part (or all) of the wedding, you need to be prepared to make some concessions.

Myth # 2 - For every bride there is the "right" wedding dress
You must have heard so many stories of the bride trying out several wedding dresses and suddenly falling in love with the dress of her dreams. So when you start planning your wedding, the one thing you look forward to the most is the search for the right dress. And you don't worry about it at all - because you have to find the "right one" every now and then.
Reality:
Buying a dress can be an extremely intense, stressful and emotional experience - only a few brides can boast of finding their perfect dresses without much fuss and effort. It is very likely that you will first need to move through the ranks of the boutiques - and compare which one fits your budget the most. Then, try (and re-try) dresses until you find the style that works for you. Then, there are changes that need to be made to make it fit you perfectly. Expect mistakes and stress before eventually finding the perfect dress that fits you perfectly.

Myth # 3 - The Bigger the Budget - The wedding is nicer
First, you buy a custom-made wedding dress sewn just for you instead of buying one already. Then you decide to go to Paris to photograph your engagement party. Ask the florist to take your bouquets up another level and complement them with flowers. Your fiancé is certainly already turning a blind eye to your decisions but is quickly giving in. You firmly believe that a wedding (and its cost) is only once in a lifetime and you will not agree to anything less cheap than you imagined.
Reality:
Although everyone has different standards, modern weddings can get really expensive. These days, it is not uncommon to see couples spending tens of thousands of euros just to get married. Of course, you don't have to worry about a budget if you can handle it financially, but if spending on something you can't afford causes stress in your relationship with your fiancé, then you have to go through your list again with the things you think you need. After all, getting married is just the beginning of something much more meaningful - your marriage.
